I have the honor of playing a newly orchestrated piece by composer Andrew Thomas on the Saturday, July 23, orchestral concert. The piece features three short movements that reclothe Bach-derived motives in Latin dance rhythms. The harp gets some brief moments in the spotlight with a solo harp samba in the third movement.
